Knee pain and hip pain are among the most common, but physical therapy can help.
“When I came to therapy I was recovering from a broken leg. I was in a hip-to-ankle brace and was walking with crutches only… Since I have been in therapy I have improved 110%! I can walk without assistance, go up and down stairs, walk in the grassy yard. I even went up and down my attic stairs.” – Deborah A.
Do you have a history of knee or hip pain? Do you have popping in your knee or pain when you use the stairs or get up from a chair? Does your knee or leg buckle or hurt when you walk or stand? Do you avoid lying on your side because of hip pain? Do you limp or waddle when you walk due to hip/knee pain or weakness? If you said “yes” to any of these questions, you would benefit from physical therapy to address the underlying cause of your pain, rather than just living with it.
During your first appointment at 21st Century Rehab, you will meet with a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in treating your condition. A full assessment will take place and you will be educated about the cause of your symptoms as well as treatment options. An individualized program will then be determined between you and your PT to best address your pain, and help you get back to normal again!
