TMJ & Headache
If you suffer with jaw pain and/or headaches, find out how physical therapy can help.
“When I first came to see Steve, my TMJ was so severe we were worried that I had teeth that were damaged. I couldn’t open my mouth to eat and had constant headaches. After a few weeks with Steve, I had great improvement, and now I feel completely back to normal!” -Hannah R.
Do you have a history of headache, jaw or TMJ pain? Does your jaw pop, click or lock, or do you have pain when you yawn or eat. Do you have headaches when you wake up or at the end of the day, or do you suffer from migraines or facial pain? Do you clench or grind your teeth or do you avoid chewy or hard foods? If you said “yes” to any of these questions, you would benefit from Physical Therapy to address the underlying cause of your pain, rather than just living with it.
During your first appointment at 21st Century Rehab, you will meet with a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in treating your condition. A full assessment will take place and you will be educated about the cause of your symptoms as well as treatment options. An individualized program will then be determined between you and your PT to best address your pain, and help you get back to normal again!
We treat: TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) and jaw pain, migraine headaches, tension headaches, clenching/grinding teeth (Bruxism), popping and clicking, neck pain
