About Katie
Katie is an Occupational Therapist and a Certified Hand Therapist working full time in Nevada, Iowa. She has a special interest in use of Kinesiotape to assist in muscular and orthopedic conditions involving the elbow, wrist and hand. She is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists. While in college, Katie studied abroad in Wales for her Bachelor’s Degree and to Brazil for her Master’s Degree. During her one month in Brazil, she helped implement different Occupational Therapy programs throughout rural regions in Northern Brazil. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and camping with her family, which includes her husband and son. Together, they enjoy being active outdoors including canoeing and biking in the warmer months.
